State grant helps fund free cancer screenings in Amsterdam
A new grant from the Department of Health will allow St. Mary’s Healthcare to give out free cancer screenings.
A new grant from the Department of Health will allow St. Mary’s Healthcare to give out free cancer screenings.
The $1.1 million will keep those screenings free through 2028.
The Cancer Services Program, which is funding this grant, aims to make no-cost screenings available across New York. It’s available to uninsured and underinsured individuals ages 40 to 64.
