A popular local brewery is looking to expand.

Fidens Brewing Company it is looking to build a new 17,800-square-foot restaurant and taproom with an outdoor patio space in Malta.

The brewery currently has a taproom on Broadway in Albany.

A proposal on the Saratoga County Planning Board agenda reveals the brewery is hoping for a new spot in Malta Commons.

The proposed building will house a brewery and restaurant with a 5,500 square foot outdoor patio, and a future additional covered patio area.

This would be the brewery’s second location. Fidens opened its taproom in Albany’s Warehouse District in the summer of 2023.
