Forbes travel recommends Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs

A luxury Saratoga Springs hotel has received a prestigious accolade.

The Adelphi Hotel has earned a new Forbes Travel Guide recommended award.

The Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises.

To compile the list, inspectors check into hotels and dine-in restaurants while posing as ordinary guests.

The inspectors test up to 900 rigorous standards, from modern-day luxuries — such as whether a room is set up to enhance sleep quality or whether the food-and-beverage choices support a guest’s well-being — to more traditional elements, such as the décor and the attention the staff pays to a guest. In fact, 70% of the property’s rating relies on service.

The Adelphi originally debuted in 1877 and was considered the crown jewel of Broadway. Now more than 145 years later, the hotel has been re-imagined.

The Adelphi continues to grow and expand. More guest rooms and suites will be opening this summer.
