In a rural part of Saratoga County, a new business is making its mark.

The Galway Local recently celebrated its first anniversary, according to the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.

Since opening in 2023, it has become more than a café and grocery store, but a place for community.

Owner Jessica Bellone founded the business with this concept in mind.

“I want the Galway Local to be that place where people can come and have that sense of community.”

Customers love The Galway Local’s freshly made diner classics made with premium ingredients, as well as its elevated classics inspired by Bellone’s travels.
“I lived in London for several years and places abroad, and I wanted to bring some of that food here to Galway as well,” she said.

In addition to offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and essential groceries, the business hosts regular community events.
