In the market for a massage every month? You have a new option in Colonie. Hand & Stone is located in the Hannaford Plaza on Wolf Road.
The spa offers several types of massages, including Swedish, hot stone, couples and facials.
Hand & Stone was founded in 2004 with the goal of making spa services affordable, and this is the first location in the Capital Region.
It now has more than 500 locations, making it the second-largest massage franchise in the country.
The Colonie location is owned by Carlos and Katie Perez. He is a physical therapist, she’s a nursing home administrator. Both have seen firsthand the impact of massage therapy on the well-being of the people they serve.
