Milton CAT is revving up its workforce with help from Capital Region BOCES.

This month, a pair of company officials visited the Career and Technical Education Center’s Albany campus.

The goal was to recruit students from the diesel tech program and tout what they have to offer employees.

The program prepares teens for careers as automotive, bus and truck technicians – heavy equipment repair techs and service managers. 

Some students are months away from graduation but they’ve already lined up jobs once they finish school.

The Milton CAT presentation was one of several initiatives taking place at Capital Region BOCES during February.
