Northeastern Insurance hosted its second annual volunteer week earlier this month.

Each day for a full week, the agency volunteered services at different local charities, including Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Ronald McDonald House.

With 100% employee participation, the goal is to contribute to a variety of causes in the community.

Employees prepped hot dogs, ice cream and more to deliver meals with the Salvation Army. They sorted bottles and cans to raise money for animals at Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and provided dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

Workers also helped distribute clothing to veterans in need through the Veterans Miracle Center and helped sort through donated items at the Regional Food Bank.
