A new local clinic is serving the Spa City community with acupuncture and cupping therapy.

Saratoga Springs Community Acupuncture, located in the city’s downtown district, opened in 2024 with a goal to help support patients in feeling their best.

The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce said founders and licensed acupuncturists Jacob Laurent and Lauren Burke are excited about this new venture.

“Acupuncture is an amazing modality that can treat a wide variety of conditions. We can relieve pain, we can reduce stress,” Burke said.

The community acupuncture clinic is the only one of its kind in Saratoga County.

Its unique model is designed to make the service more accessible for folks who are seeking solutions.
“We treat people with acupuncture in a community setting. That means the cost is lower, so people can receive treatment as much as they need to get results,” she said.
Looking ahead, the clinic plans to begin offering massage therapy for people experiencing jaw pain.

The clinic also presents monthly events incorporating breathwork, sound healing and more.
