Saratoga Springs has new spot for trading card enthusiasts

If you enjoy collecting trading cards, there is a spot for you in Saratoga Springs.

Saratoga Springs has a new spot for trading card enthusiasts.

Card Shack, LLC is now open on Wells Street.

The shop is owned and operated by local collector Thomas MacDonald.

“Card Shack is a place where people can come and enjoy Pokémon trading cards, Magic the Gathering, it’s a space for collectors and players alike,” MacDonald said.

Pokémon originally made its debut in the late ’90s, and the card game saw a resurgence during the pandemic.

If you enjoy collecting trading cards, there is a spot for you in Saratoga Springs.

The store recently celebrated its ribbon cutting with the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and MacDonald is eager to invite new shoppers into the space.
