Saratoga Springs restaurant getting national recognition

A local sports bar will be featured on “America’s Best Restaurants.”
The West Side Sports Bar & Grill in Saratoga Springs will host a visit from the show on April 11.
The show will highlight popular dishes and interview owner Dave Harmon about the restaurant’s special place in the community.
Harmon opened the West Side Sports Bar on Congress Street in 2005.
He describes the restaurant as the “Cheers of Saratoga.”

Harmon said he expects the restaurant’s calamari, burgers, salads, and chicken wings, which were voted best wings by the readers of The Saratogian, to be featured on the program.
