The Whistling Kettle, a popular Capital Region restaurant and tea supplier, has a new product on the market with the debut of its first sparkling tea.

Owner Kevin Borowsky is excited about this newly launched creation that is receiving fantastic reviews so far.

“It’s purple papaya berry. It’s caffeine-free herbal beverage that’s naturally sweetened with Stevia leaves,” he said.

The new product was inspired by the desire to bring the quality of The Whistling Kettle’s loose-leaf teas to a convenient, ready-to-drink product that’s healthy for consumers.

“We did a lot of taste tests, and this formula came out amazing. It tastes great, kids love it,” he said.

You can try it at The Whistling Kettle’s Ballston Spa, Troy or Schenectady restaurants, as well as its warehouse in Albany.

The company also has an online division that ships worldwide.

The business aims to distribute the sparkling tea to stores and other locations in the coming months.

“Once we get this rolling, we’ll have other flavors that we’re going to develop down the road,” he said.
