Knickerbacker Middle School students in Troy hosted the annual Red Team Turkey Feast on Thursday.

The tradition dates back more than 15 years. Students and teachers on the school’s Red Team host the large yearly Thanksgiving feast over the course of the school’s three lunch periods. All school employees are invited.

The team uses the event as opportunity to collect food donations for those in need.

Attendees are encouraged to donate either a box of pasta or jar of pasta sauce.
