Woman arrested for damaging property in Halfmoon

28-year-old Fiona Iradukunda of Halfmoon was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on November 7 for allegedly damaging property belonging to another person.

The Sheriff’s Office says they responded to an active domestic incident call around 11:34 a.m. on Meyer Road in Halfmoon, which investigation into the complaint led to Iradukunda’s arrest.

She is accused of intentionally damaging property belonging to another person in an amount exceeding $250, and tampering with property belonging to another person with the intent to cause substantial inconvenience to them, said the Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say Iradukunda was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal tampering.

She was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and released on her own recognizance pending further proceedings.
