A woman in Woodford, Bennington County is facing charges for crashing her car while allegedly driving under the influence.

Michelle Snow, 45, of Pownal called for help early Friday morning, and said her car had been stolen, according to investigators.

Troopers picked up Snow near Burgess Road and Stage Coach Road, and gave her a ride.

They noticed she seemed to be impaired, they said, and that there were several inconsistencies with her story.

Investigators went back to the area where Snow was picked up and found a car had crashed into a building. An investigation determined Snow was the only person in that car, they said.
