A woman in Troy is accused of attempted murder.

A shooting happened on Old 6th Avenue just after 7 a.m. Sunday morning, police said.

Krista Leverette, 34, fired shots from a handgun at another person during a fight, police said.

Police don’t believe that person was hit, they said.

Both people know each other, according to police, and ran from the scene.

Leverette was caught with the gun inside a home soon afterward. She will be arraigned Monday.
