A friend close to Kaylin Gillis – the woman shot and killed in Washington County – after ending up in a wrong driveway by accident said, “she was a wonderful, sweet, and thoughtful soul with a giving nature and artistic soul.”

Gillis’ Facebook page has some pictures of herself and with animals.

One woman on Facebook wrote Kaylin would light up the whole room with her glowing smile.

Others wrote there are no words to express the hurt and anger they are feeling right now over Gillis’ death.

The Schuylerville Central School District grad made the honor roll a few times.

A GoFundMe page has been set up. The goal is to get to $30,000.

The family has raised about $21,000 so far, with at least 170 donors.

Many donors left messages that convey their heartbreak and prayers for Gillis’ family.
