Albany man charged with sexual abuse of child

An Albany man is accused of child sexual abuse.

Warren K. Borne, 40, allegedly had sexual contact with the child under the age of 11 in 2022 while in the town of Jefferson, State Police said.

Borne and the child knew each other, State Police told NewsChannel 13.

Borne was charged with felony first-degree sexual abuse.

He was arraigned in Schoharie County Centralized Arraignment Court and sent to Schoharie County Jail in lieu of bail of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond or $15,000 partially secured bond.
