Amsterdam man sentenced to 8 years in prison for firing gun at family during a dispute.
An Amsterdam man was sentenced to up to 8 years in prison for firing a gun at family.
Joseph Kellogg Jr., 29, got a rifle during a dispute with his relatives and fired the gun in the air after directing it toward his sisters, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Kellogg was convicted in March of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
