Cellphone policies at schools draw mixed reactions

Studies show teens get a staggering seven hours of screen time on average each day, but most schools ban cellphones in the classroom so students can focus on learning.
A Wisconsin school has been banning the phones 2008. That ban even turned into a municipal fine for students who are caught.
Other schools have students keep it in their lockers or in a special pouch all-day.
The bans have mixed reactions from students and parents – especially if there’s an emergency.
