Clearing up recycling confusion
Not sure what you can and can't recycle? We've got some tips.
Paper, glass, and aluminum are often recycled into new products. However, plastic is a little more problematic. That’s according to Mary Ellen Mallia, Director of Sustainability at UAlbany.
As little as 5% of plastic is actually recycled.

However, not every plastic with the symbol on it can be easily recycled.
