Cohoes man who pleaded guilty in drunken chase arrested again
A Cohoes man who pleaded guilty last month to driving drunk and leading police on a chase over three counties, has been arrested again.
Cohoes Police said they attempted to stop Steven L. Devlin on Delaware Avenue around 3 a.m. He refused and drove over the 112th Street Bridge into Lansingburgh, police said.
He eventually pulled over the car around 112th Street and 9th Avenue and got out. Devlin ran away and jumped a couple fences, police said.
Officers eventually caught up to him, tased him and arrested him.
He was arraigned in Cohoes City Court and released.
Devlin admitted in Saratoga County Court last month to leading police on a chase that began in Halfmoon and went through Waterford, Troy and onto 787 in Cohoes before he stopped. He also hit a patrol vehicle on purpose.
