The project includes six new buildings along Allen Drive, replacing the outdated buildings on the site that have been demolished.
Springs West is designed to provide workforce housing by attracting both adult households and families.
All apartments will be reserved for households earning up to 80% of the area median income.
This is all part of Gov. Kathy Hochul’s $25 billion five-year housing plan, which is on track to create or preserve 100,000 affordable homes across the state.
Leasing is expected to start in spring 2026.
