A jury is deliberating in the Iaeir Robinson murder trial.

Robinson is accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend, Ahsid Hemingway-Powell at her Old Hickory Drive Apartment in 2022.

During closing arguments, prosecutors argued Robinson killed Hemingway-Powell because he had just contracted HIV from her and was worried about people finding out that he was dating a transgender woman.

Prosecutors failed to investigate other suspects, the defense said.
