Planting a mini forest
Tess Drauschak, the Environmental Program Specialist at Five Rivers in Delmar, speaks with NewsChannel 13 about a mini forest they will be planting at Five Rivers, and how she says it will help the environment.
Work is underway at Five Rivers to build a mini forest.
It involves planting 500 trees and 1,500 herbaceous plants.
The hope is that the unique way this is done will help many of the plants grow big and tall.
