Man pleads guilty in fatal Albany stabbing

A man has pleaded guilty in a fatal Albany stabbing.
Javier Martinez-Reyes pleaded guilty in Albany County Court to second-degree murder in the killing 24-year-old Abel Vasques-Bautista on June 3 in the area of Washington Avenue.
Martinez-Reyes is set to receive a prison term of 20 years to life when sentenced on Feb. 28.
Marco Reyes-Lopez also has been charged in Bautista’s killing. NewsChannel 13 has reached out for an update in that case.
Both men were living in the country illegally.
