Michigan woman gets college degree while in labor

A Michigan woman determined to walk across the stage and get her college degree said nothing would stop her – not even labor pains.

Kelsey Hudie has been pursuing a liberal arts degree at Henry Ford College since 2018.

The birth of her first child wasn’t going to delay that dream.

So her aunt – who works at the college – got a hold of the administration, and they had no problem switching the order a little bit, giving out Hudie’s degree at the beginning of the ceremony.

Hudie now has her degree, and a story she will never get tired of telling her baby girl.
