Averill Park Central School District has a new cow friend.

The Food Services Team adopted the cow, named Rosie, through the “Discover Dairy” program.

Students and teachers also have access to information about Rosie, her farm, and virtual farm tours.

It’s an opportunity to connect the cafeteria and the classroom, the district said.
