Glens Falls High School is making sure all students get the thrill of participating in sports — regardless of ability. It’s part of the school’s year-round commitment to inclusion.
Now the school has been recognized as a Special Olympics National Banner Unified Champion School. It’s one of just 13 across the state to receive the honor, which recognizes schools who excel at accepting and celebrating all students.
The school also offers unified basketball, bowling and bocce.
Glens Falls will soon get a banner announcing the recognition, letting the world know what the GF Nation already knows.
