Schenectady High School is continuing to tweak procedures to make the process of screening students for weapons go more smoothly.
The school district’s new weapons detection system was up and running a few weeks ago. The screenings had created long lines at the entrance.
A district spokesperson said that the lines are moving more quickly, but there are still issues to address.
Starting next week, three CDTA bus schedules will be changed to 10 minutes earlier to stagger when students are arriving. That way, they will not be arriving at the same entrance at the same time.
