A recent trip gave local students the chance to experience an exciting culture and visit inspiring historical sites.
A group of 30 Shaker students explored Spain during April break with their chaperones Jessie Morgan, Kelly Mattice, Jaimie Weiss and Lauren Sheeler.
They got to visit the Prado Museum in Madrid, the Roman Aqueduct in Segovia, and other interesting places.
The district said many churros were eaten and miles covered, but open minds and new friends made were the favorite things the students brought home with them.
