Anusha Sekhar’s parents had only one wish for her when she was growing up – to become a doctor or engineer. She chose to become a pharmacist instead.

It is a career the Saratoga Springs woman loves because it allows her to help others. However, a second career would emerge – something she enjoyed since childhood. Her art business, Art of Anusha, was born.

Her works are beautifully vivid and attention grabbing and her creative spirit helps capture people’s memories of their beloved animals.

She also loves to paint weddings as they happen – capturing the special moment in a unique way.

She’s not afraid of using her art to start a dialogue on cultural and social issues.
