Pile of scrap metal catches fire at Port of Coeymans

A fire that burned for a good part of the day on Wednesday at the Port of Coeymans is now out.
The call came in around 6:15 a.m.
Richard Robinson, the director of the port, says the fire was at a site rented by Eastern Metal Recycling. He says their scrap metal pile that caught fire.
The Department of Environmental Conservation was also on scene checking the air quality.
There is no word yet on how this started.
