ALBANY – Paintings of monarchs are back once again in Albany’s South End neighborhood.
After the South End Butterfly Sanctuary’s mural was covered in graffiti earlier this week, students with The Free School lent a helping hand.
The students cleaned up the mural, and added even more butterflies to it.
The sanctuary’s founder says the monarch represents transformation, something she hopes to help achieve in the South End.
