Two-alarm fire breaks out at Troy apartment building

TROY – A Troy fire has left several people displaced.

The two-alarm blaze broke out in the basement of 794 River Street shortly after 8 a.m. Friday.

Albany firefighters assisted the Troy Fire Department at the six apartment structure.

One person was treated and transported to an area hospital. Another was treated at the scene. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

The Red Cross has been contacted to help to the victims.
