New York state searching for 2022 holiday trees
New York state is looking ahead to the most wonderful time of the year.
The Office of General Services is looking for two spruce trees to be displayed outside the state Capitol in December.
One will grace East Capitol Park, and another on the south side of the capitol on the Empire State Plaza.
The trees should be between 35 and 55 feet tall, easily accessible and clear of power lines.
If you have a tree you would like to be considered, please contact Kevin Ciampi at OGS by emailing Kevin.Ciampi@ogs.ny.gov and include your name, address where the tree is located, a photo of the tree, and a contact phone number.
