SCHENECTADY – The assistant chief of the Schenectady Fire Department says the cause of a fire that killed a 4-year-old girl on 6th Avenue Saturday is not considered suspicious.

The fire was on the second floor, and that’s where they found the girl.

Two families shared the home, and eight people are homeless.

As soon as NewsChannel 13 learns the exact cause of the fire, we’ll pass it along.
