Friday is Jim Malatras’ final day in office as SUNY Chancellor.
Malatras could be getting a big payout.
The Times Union and New York Post report he’s eligible for a $450,000 one year paid leave and lifetime employment, according to his contract.
Malatras stepped down last month, after he came under fire for text messages showing him mocking Lindsay Boylan. She was the first woman to accuse former Gov. Cuomo of sexual harassment.
SUNY Oswego President Deborah Stanely will serve as interim chancellor starting Saturday.
