Well you may have noticed, we are joined Sunday morning by meteorologist Neal Estano, who is filling in for Christina.

That’s because Christina was lucky enough to go to the New York Emmy Awards Saturday night.

Christina and fellow first warning meteorologist Reid Kisselback took home Emmy’s for their first warning experience in the short form weather content category.

Congrats to them.

And congrats to our very own, Elaine Houston who took home an Emmy for her coal versus cancer story last summer.

She won in the environment and science day-turn category.
