Albany County reports 939 new COVID cases

Albany County reported another 939 new COVID cases in their latest update on Friday.

There are 5,148 active cases in the county, up from 4,662 the day before.

There are now 102 county residents currently hospitalized, a net increase of three. Sixteen of those patients are in the ICU.

Sadly, a man in his 90s has died from the virus, bringing the death toll to 475 since the pandemic began.
