Colonie business serving up gourmet popcorn, machine rentals

COLONIE – You don’t have to go to Chicago to get the best gourmet popcorn.

What’s Poppin’ on Central Avenue in Albany, next to O’Toole’s, claims to have corn every bit as good as the best you’ll find in the Windy City.

They pop up all the traditional flavors and some you’ve never tried, and they do it for special occasions and parties. They even do popcorn bars for parties and weddings.

New this year, "What’s Poppin’" is offering popcorn machine rentals, which can come with or without one of their expert poppers to go to your site.
