One of the men accused of breaking in to a Kingsbury gun shop is now also facing federal charges.
Investigators say he was also caught on video shoving a 12-gauge shotgun down his pants.
Jonathon Combs is accused of stealing a shotgun from Calamity Jane’s the week before police say he and Martin Taft smashed their way into the store and stole 31 handguns.
Combs is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm from a federal licensee.
According to the federal complaint, Combs was caught on the store’s surveillance video on October 15, shoving the gun down his pants.
A source says Combs was likely casing the store. He’s being held on the federal charges in the Rensselaer County Jail.
Taft, his co-defendant, was denied bail last week because he’s also a prior felon.
