Capital Region beer makers hope special brew sheds light on relationship abuse

Some local breweries and cideries are making some noise – all in the name of a good cause.

Unified Beerworks in Malta, Indian Ladder Farms Cidery and Brewery in Altamont, and Bound by Fate Brewery in Schuylerville are part of a global effort to provide inclusive and safe environments for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ throughout the beer industry.

They produce a specialty beer called Brave Noise to show support, start important conversations and be part of what they call the "bev-olution."

Along the way, they found a perfect partner in Wellspring, whose mission is to end relationship and sexual abuse.
