Boy, 17, killed in Duanesburg ATV crash

A 17-year-old boy was killed in a weekend ATV crash in Duanesburg.

Connor Summerfield of Howes Cave was riding Saturday afternoon on Batter Street when he left the road and hit an embankment.

Summerfield and a 14-year-old boy were both thrown from the ATV.

Summerfield was pronounced dead at Ellis Hospital.

The 14-year-old boy has minor injuries, and didn’t need to go to the hospital.
