Northville hosts Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Classic for third season

At SUNY FMCC in Johnstown, over 2 dozen teams played in the Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Classic in the first weekend of December. Teams from three different sections join to play basketball while helping the cause of raising money to fight cancer. The event has raised over $12,000 for cancer research up to now, and coordinator and head coach of Northville boys basketball John Karbowski says the tournament gains more success each season.

Over $12,000 has been raised by the event since it began three seasons ago.
