It’s been almost 20 years since Audrey May Herron disappeared, and state police continue to follow leads.
Members of the State Police Underwater Recovery Team conducted a search at Maurer’s Lake and Potuck Reservoir – both off the Schoharie Turnpike in Earlton, and a portion of the Catskill Creek in South Cairo.
Police say they received new reports in Herron’s case, but the search turned up nothing.
Herron went missing in 2002 after leaving work in Catskill. Her Jeep Grand Cherokee was never found.
