Red Cross helps nine people after Albany fire

ALBANY – The American Red Cross is helping nine people after a house fire in Albany.

The fire broke out at the home on Hudson Avenue around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Two homes were damaged.

The fire chief says it started inside one house and then spread to the second.

UAlbany is providing temporary housing for some of the residents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
