Norlite has reached an agreement with the New York State Attorney General’s Office.
The company will implement a comprehensive dust emissions program for the facility in Cohoes.
The program was developed with input from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as part of an order issued by the New York State Supreme Court.
It includes new monitoring instrumentation, new target metrics for the facility, new reporting procedures and the development of additional operation procedures.
