Motorcycle rider killed in Guilderland crash

Guilderland police are investigating a deadly crash.

Police say a woman was turning into the Dunkin’ at Western Avenue and Church Road around 6:45 a.m. Friday, when she hit 62-year-old Joseph Gentile on his motorcycle.

Gentile was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center a short time later.

No one else was hurt, and no charges have been filed so far.

Police don’t think alcohol or drugs played a role.
