Six Section 2 wrestlers advance to state finals, but none bring home titles

Six Section 2 wrestlers advanced to the state finals at MVP Arena on Saturday, but unfortunately none of them were able to bring home state titles. Defending state champion Tristen Hitchcock lost a 4-2 decision in the finals to end his season. Ballston Spa’s Darrien Insogna also put up a good fight in the finals, but fell short in the 215 pound weight class.
