Man busted in Albany for possession of ‘mushrooms’

The Albany County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Monday who they say was in possession of almost a quarter pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Deputies say they stopped 26-year-old Shakir Q. Caldwell and found that he was driving without a license. They also found digital weighing scales and baggies along with the drugs.

Caldwell is charged with multiple felonies and will be arraigned in Albany City Court.
